Your dashboard has a "Getting Started" guide the moment you sign up, walking you through it in order: tables, then mapping them onto a floor plan, then your menu, then your team. You can also do it by hand — Settings > Tables adds tables in bulk (tell it how many 2-tops, 4-tops and so on), Settings > Floor Plan is where you drag them into the shape of your actual room, and Settings > Menu gets your dishes in (they route themselves to the right kitchen station by category). After that you can seat a walk-in or take a reservation the same day.

Look for “AirPrint” (iOS) or “Mopria” (Android) named explicitly on the actual spec sheet before buying. Genuine certification is narrower than it looks — most “POS receipt printers,” including many Epson TM models, are built to plug into a specific POS's own driver instead. Call a reseller and confirm by name rather than assuming.
Payments run through Stripe. Cards can be typed in manually with no extra hardware, or connect one of Stripe's own readers — WisePOS E ($249) or Reader S700 ($349) — ordered from your Stripe Dashboard under Terminal → Shop, then linked from Settings. A reader from any other processor, Square included, physically cannot pair with Stripe regardless of specs.
